Walker manufacturing started around 1980 as a family owed business building high performance mowers. They are designed and developed to create an awesome lawn cutting machine, not to fill a marketing niche or for some other purpose. You can tell they enjoy and take pride in what they do. And they have maintained their no-marketing, all about the machine approach over the years. They focus on their customers, not shipping mowers but only in person sales, focusing on customer testimonials rather than fancier marketing. This however has made it a little harder to find new walker mowers for sale.

Product wise, Walker focuses one on thing and does it well. They produces a variety of sizes of Zero-Turn ride on mowers, with some accessories. They pride themselves on maneuverability and ease of use. It smaller size than it's competitors allows for increased maneuverability making it very suited to small and landscaped areas and to 'get where others can't'. But just because they are small it doesn't mean they are weak. With power and maneuverability it means easy driving and less toll on the operator and therefore a faster, better job.

Complaints, common issues and other problems

Personally, this is one of the few mowers I haven't actually had a go on (email me if you have and have some feedback here). I have, however, only ever heard of two complaints and both of the came back to after-market purchase additions (buying cheap blades or attachments that are none-branded so get the real ones - Replacement Blade, Shocks and wheels). So all in all, in my experience I think you can be pretty confident in purchasing this brand.
